What time are the Sunday services?

Sunday services are held at 10:00 am. We suggest you arrive 15 minutes early to park and get settled. You might hear the choir rehearsing when you arrive. A greeter will welcome you and help you get oriented. You will be given an Order of Service and welcomed to the sanctuary. Ten minutes before the service is quiet time in the sanctuary. Music is played (live or recorded) to provide a meditative opportunity before services formally begin.

What should I wear?

Some are comfortable wearing jackets and ties, causal dresses or slacks. Many wear jeans, shorts, and casual garb. There is no set standard other than your personal comfort.

Where do I park?

We have a large parking lot. Enter the foyer on the parking lot side, in the front. When you enter, you will see a colorful nametag area and our church banner. In the foyer, you will be greeted, shown the closet and bathrooms, and invited to make a nametag.

How long is the service?

Sunday worship services are about an hour. They are not all alike (see calendar) but follow a similar format week to week. Customarily, we sit quietly during the postlude before leaving the sanctuary. A social hour follows the service. Hot and cold beverages and light snack items are available. Once each month we enjoy a potluck lunch following the worship service. You are welcome to join us.

Where do the children go during services?

Some of our services are Intergenerational (the children stay for the whole service) and other services are more adult oriented. Children stay for the first 15 minutes of service before going to their Religious Education classes. We also provide nursery care in the room just off the back of the sanctuary.

Why wear a nametag?

We encourage members and visitors to wear nametags so we can call each other by name. If you would like a more permanent name tag, the greeter will show you where to sign up.
